The IP rating is not the only condition. In zone 1, Art. 7.1.4.3 allows only junction boxes and fixing devices supplying equipment permitted in zones 0 and 1, plus accessories of SELV or PELV circuits rated at no more than 25 V AC or 60 V DC, with the source installed outside zones 0 and 1. Art. 7.1.5: in zone 1 only fixed, permanently connected equipment may be installed.
Every circuit in a room with a bath or a shower is protected by an RCD of no more than 30 mA.
Not covered here: the minimum IPX5 required for equipment subjected to water jets (Art. 7.1.4.1).
